		<description>Thank you for the comments Elaine. Yes, i quite agree. I always let the teachers know that they need to consider the desired knowledge, skill and attitudinal outcomes. Look at the range of possible tactics and strategies that they could employ to achieve the outcomes and if technology is appropriate at a specific juncture then employ it. I also believe that publishing and sharing can provide opportunities for community development and affirmation. There is more to come Elaine... thank you!</description>

1.Firstly, be clear what you mean by web 2.0 technologies.  The list is long and the concept/s broad. The starting point needs to be the teaching or learning purpose. The what and the how are key initial considerations. The what is drawn from syllabuses-learn to, learn about and the how concerns the tools, strategies and practices. 
2. and 3. inspiration, engagement, expanded practices, collaboration, networking ...
Still, first we have look at the available tools and focus on a couple with good practice examples, modelling within the school and scaffolded opportunities to test in a supported environment.
